Tripura Bhumi Seva ("we", "our", or "the App") is a digital land records search application built to provide an interactive, mobile-first UI/UX for ease of collecting land documents from the Government of Tripura's land records portal (jami.tripura.gov.in). The App serves as a convenient interface to access publicly available land record data (Record of Rights) and does not own, operate, or control the government portal in any way. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use our application.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

Search Queries: Location selections (district, subdivision, circle, tehsil, mouja) and search parameters you enter to look up land records.
Device Information: Device type, operating system version, app version, and screen resolution for improving app compatibility and serving relevant advertisements.
Usage Analytics: Anonymous usage patterns such as pages visited, features used, and session duration to improve the app experience.
Crash Reports: Automatic crash and error reports to help us identify and fix technical issues.
Session Data: Temporary session cookies required for the search workflow with the government land records portal.

3. Third-Party Services

Our application uses the following third-party services:

Google AdMob: We use Google AdMob to serve advertisements. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve personalized or non-personalized ads based on your preferences. You can manage your ad preferences through your device settings.
Firebase / Google Analytics: We use Firebase for data storage, analytics, and crash reporting (via Firebase Crashlytics). Firebase collects anonymous usage data, crash logs, and device state information to help us improve the app.
Google Play Services: The Android app uses Google Play In-App Review and In-App Updates APIs, which may collect engagement metrics through Google Play Services.
Government of Tripura Land Records Portal: Search queries are forwarded to the official Tripura land records portal (jami.tripura.gov.in) to retrieve land record data. We do not own or operate this portal; it is owned and maintained by the Government of Tripura, India. We act as an intermediary and do not store the returned land record documents permanently.

4. How We Use Your Information

Processing your land record search queries and displaying results.
Caching search data temporarily to improve performance and reduce load on the government portal.
Serving relevant advertisements through Google AdMob.
Analyzing anonymous usage patterns to improve the app's features and user experience.
Diagnosing and fixing technical issues through crash reports.

5. Data Storage and Security

We use Firebase Firestore for data storage with encryption in transit and at rest. Session data required for the form workflow is stored temporarily and cleared after use. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.

6. Data Retention

Session Data: Cleared automatically after your search session ends.
Cached Search Results: Stored temporarily (typically for a few hours) to improve performance, then automatically deleted.
Analytics Data: Retained in anonymized form as governed by Google Analytics/Firebase data retention policies.
No Personal Data: We do not store personal data permanently. No account creation is required to use the app.

7. Advertising

We use Google AdMob to display advertisements in the app. AdMob may use device advertising identifiers and cookies to serve ads. You may see personalized ads based on your interests or non-personalized ads based on contextual information. You can opt out of personalized advertising through your device's privacy settings or by visiting Google's Ad Settings page.

8. Children's Privacy

Tripura Bhumi Seva is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete such information.

Tripura Bhumi Seva is an independent, third-party application and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with the Government of Tripura or the National Informatics Centre (NIC). The website jami.tripura.gov.in is owned and operated by the Government of Tripura, India.

All land record documents (Record of Rights) displayed in this App are retrieved as-is from the official Tripura land records portal without any alteration, modification, or tampering. The data is publicly available on the internet through the government portal.

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or authenticity of any land record data displayed. For any discrepancy, error, or concern regarding the content of any land record document, please contact the National Informatics Centre (NIC), Tripura or the Government of Tripura directly for resolution.

This App is intended solely for informational purposes and should not be considered as a substitute for official records obtained directly from the competent government authority.

10. Your Rights

No account creation is required to use this app.
No personal data is collected beyond anonymous usage analytics.
You can clear your app data and cache at any time through your device settings.
You can opt out of personalized advertising through your device settings.
You can request information about data we may hold by contacting us.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the app. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes are effective when they are posted on this page.
